Big Announcement

Right after my husband went to be with the Lord I was sitting on the front porch talking with my brother Tim and telling him how I was feeling and what I felt like the Lord was doing through this great hurt. He encouraged me to write it down and we prayed if it was the Lord will that He would give us lyrics expressing what the Lord was doing.

Two weeks after, I was out of town and started singing about what I was feeling, and a song came out (Perfect Peace.) The Lord began to bring my journals to life in songs and giving Tim the incredible gift to put to music, he is a very gifted songwriter. We have been working for many months on this, my brother Tim has been working more hours than a full time job to make this happen. So we have written and produced an album titled Broken talking about the faithfulness of God no matter what you are facing. There have been many times in this process where grief has hit me hard and I hear in the other room my little boys singing “He gives more grace when the burdens grow greater” or “even in the valley HE is faithful, even in the darkness He is there” and I just begin to cry.

God has used this music to encourage my heart SO much and has used it to pour truth into my boys through song. We are offering 5 songs for free to anyone who wants it at theelmmusic.com and there are two bonus songs available on itunes, one of which we didn’t write so we couldn’t afford to give away due to the royaltyies so that is why it has to be purchased. We wanted to encourage as many people as we possible could to remind them that the Lord is with them, and didn’t want money to stand in the way of that.
